ROBORDER

The ROBORDER (autonomous swarm of heterogeneous RObots for BORDER surveillance) project develops a fully-functional autonomous border surveillance system with unmanned mobile robots including aerial, water surface, underwater and ground vehicles, capable of functioning both as standalone and in swarms, which will incorporate multimodal sensors as part of an interoperable network. In ROBORDER, CyberLens Ltd leads the detection and classification techniques for recognising cyber and cyber-physical attacks and participates in identification and tracking of illegal communications. In addition, it is involved in the system integration activities, the prototype demonstration and evaluation as well as the dissemination activities of the project.

The 5G ESSENCE (Embedded Network Services for 5G Experiences) project addresses the paradigms of Edge Cloud computing and Small Cell as a Service to provide a highly flexible and scalable platform, able to support new business models and revenue streams by creating a neutral host market and reducing operational costs by providing new opportunities for ownership, deployment, operation and amortisation. Based on its expertise and its proprietary software, CyberLens Ltd contributes to the technical requirements elicitation by defining and specifying the security requirements of the 5G-ESSENCE infrastructure. It will also create a database of the most likely threats and attacks with respect to confidentiality, privacy, integrity and availability of the 5G-ESSENCE platform. Furthermore, CyberLens Ltd will assess the performance and security threats of the two-tier cloud deployments and contribute to the dissemination and communication activities of the project.


SDN-microSENSE

SDN-microSENSE (SDN-microgrid reSilient Electrical eNergy SystEm) aims at providing and demonstrating a secure, resilient to cyber attacks, privacy-enabled and protected against data breaches solution for centralised Electrical Power and Energy Systems (EPES). Adopting an SDN-based technology, SDN-microSENSE will develop a three-layer security architecture by deploying and implementing risk assessment processes, self-healing capabilities, large-scale distributed detection and prevention mechanisms as well as an overlay privacy protection framework. CyberLens Ltd. will contribute to the design of SDN-microSENSE’s collaborative risk assessment methodology for the energy chain as well as the development of EPES honeypots for the detection of Advanced Persistent Threats. CyberLens will also contribute to the development and configuration of the SDN-microSENSE SIEM tool as well as the implementation of the project’s SS-IDPS system.

SPIDER

SPIDER (a cyberSecurity Platform for vIrtualiseD 5G cybEr Range services) delivers an innovative Cyber Range as a Service platform that extends and combines the capabilities of existing telecommunication testbeds and cyber ranges into a unified facility for: testing new security technologies; training modern cyber defenders in near real-world conditions; and supporting organisations in making optimal cybersecurity investment decisions. Towards this vision, it features integrated tools for cyber testing including advanced emulation tools, novel training methods based on active learning as well as econometric models based on real-time emulation of modern cyber attacks. CyberLens Ltd. will lead the effort of implementing SPIDER's investment decision support component; a component capable of managing cyber risks by providing a clear picture of their likelihood and impact, including forecasting their evolution in and against 5G infrastructures.


CUREX

CUREX (seCUre and pRivate hEalth data eXchange) addresses comprehensively the protection of the confidentiality and integrity of health data by producing a novel, flexible and scalable situational awareness-oriented platform. It allows a healthcare provider to assess the realistic cybersecurity and privacy risks they are exposed to and suggest mathematically optimal strategies for addressing these risks with safeguards tailored specifically for each business case and application. CyberLens B.V. will lead the effort of implementing the CUREX Health Professional and Patient Applications that will interoperate with the CUREX Blockchain.

5G-CARMEN

5G-CARMEN (5G for Connected and Automated Road Mobility in the European UnioN) addresses these challenges harnessing the concept of “Mobility Corridors”. In 5G-CARMEN important European industries, academics and innovative SMEs commit to achieve world-wide impact by conducting extensive trials across an important (by people/goods traffic volumes) corridor, from Bologna to Munich, spanning 600 Km of roads, connecting three European regions (Bavaria, Tirol and Trentino/South-Tyrol) across three countries. CyberLens B.V. will be the main responsible for the design and development and integration of privacy, security, and data protection mechanisms that are necessary for delivering CCAM services in cross-border situations.


CREST

CREST (Fighting Crime and TerroRism with an IoT-enabled Autonomous Platform based on an Ecosystem of Advanced IntelligEnce, Operations, and InveStigation Technologies) aims to equip Law Enforcement Agencies with an advanced prediction, prevention, operation, and investigation platform by leveraging the IoT ecosystem, autonomous systems, and targeted technologies building upon the concept of multidimensional integration and correlation of heterogeneous multimodal data streams for threat detection and assessment, dynamic mission planning, adaptive navigation for improved surveillance and sharing of information and exchange of digital evidence based on blockchain. CyberLens B.V. will lead the effort of implementing the CREST cyber threat detection module tasked with detecting and classifying cyber attacks against robotic systems and IoT communications by combining deep and statistical learning.

CARAMEL

CARAMEL's (Artificial Intelligence based cybersecurity for connected and automated vehicles) goal is to proactively address modern vehicle cybersecurity challenges applying advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques, and also to continuously seek methods to mitigate associated safety risks. To achieve a secure vehicle development process with explicit cybersecurity considerations, well established methodologies coming from the ICT sector are required, allowing to assess vulnerabilities and potential cyber attack impacts. CyberLens B.V. will lead the effort of eliciting the security and privacy requirements that will drive the implementation of the CARAMEL global security solution. CyberLens will also assist the modelling of the threats affecting the cybersecurity posture of connected vehicles as well as the development of the hardware security modules of the CARAMEL anti-hacking device.
